So the house is quarantined! Bri is doing better but now B.J. is full out miserable! He was up most of last night and has a fever tonight. I gave him TheraFlu and he is resting now. He even had to cancel his Warcraft raid, lol. Yes, for him that's a pretty big deal=D I guess we will have a mellow weekend... oh goodness... I have a baby staying over, hope he gets better fast.
Today Ms Amy had a chat with Bri about how often the lead rolls in plays arn't the ones you think they are going to be. How sometimes the people you think of as the main characters don't actually have that many lines and that since she was so good at memorizing lines she was going to get alot of lines. Bri took it pretty well. The teacher for that class let me know they would be finding out their rolls at the end of the next class. I asked that she explain to the kids why they got the parts they were getting and not just assign them. I hope she does.
The dogs are getting spring fever. They are really feeling cooped up. Bri has been taking Zoe for walks but couldn't yesterday and today due to not feeling well. Boy is Zoe pouting. The other two are spending alot of time rough housing in the kitchen. We also had to stop giving them any food at all in the kitchen because they were getting to demanding. So no people food at all for awhile! They are having withdrawals! They even tore into a garbage bag yesterday. I thought B.J. was going to hang them by their toes. Guess we need to get them out of the house a little more.
I loaned our "chicken mummy" to the school today. We made ours 4 years ago when we were studying the ancients. We had 3 families gether here at the house every week for 3 months to study and work on the project of mummification. Our's is still in tact and looking good. I believe the other two families didn't keep their's for to long after the project. I keep everything. Anyway the teacher I loaned it to is doing one chicken as a class project. She was eager to show the kids a finished project to keep them motivated. After all the project takes 70+ days to complete. It was fun to show the teacher our pictures from when we did it here. Made me eager to do a big project at home. Guess I need to check the history book and find something that ties in.
Well I guess it is time to wrap this up. Maybe I should do some dishes=) Hope you are all well and thank you for stopping by.
