Inviting Friends and Family

So I just sent out my email to invite you all to tour my blog=D Feels like an open house. I hope you all learn something new about me or at least enjoy a little giggle.

Bri. is trying to get to sleep. She had her pal K stay the night tonight and they were both dragging a little. Bri. has the croupy cough again and that seems to wear her out. She made it to classes today but she was noticably tired. She insisted on going today as she is very excited about theater. The school play this year is A Midsummer Night's Dream. Bri. is very enthusiastic this year as she feels she will get a good part. Last year she had 2 very small parts in The Wizard of Oz. I just recieved an email from our consultant at the program who gave me the heads up that Bri. is once again not going to get the lead. While this is no surprise, it is still going to be hard on her. She is still not seeing that when she concentrates on what she's saying she looses most of her facial animation. But she is getting better and really that is what I hope for most!

B.J. has been taking guitar lessons and is truely enjoying himself. I think he wishes it was a little easier for him but he is making very good progress. Tonight he went with his Mom to the pub to watch his teacher perform. I stayed home with the girls but I am eager to hear about his experience when he gets home. The teacher seems very gifted and is forever leaving B.J. in amazement.

As far as B.J.'s job goes we won't know anything until March 13th. His company has anounced it will lay off 26% of it's employees in his division and one other. It is very possible that this layoff will get us. This is creating a fair amount of stress for us. B.J. is taking it much harder than I am. After 9 years and 8 lrounds of layoffs I feel fortunate we made it this long. I do hope we miss this round too but I am trying to stay realistic.

B.J. got a call from his brother tonight that he is being laidoff from his job on Friday. He sounded pretty disappointed as one would expect. Hopefully he will be able to find a new job quickly or at least some temporary jobs to hold him over until they recall him. In B.J.'s case no one has ever been recalled they just keep loading down the people left over with more work=(

Hmm... not supposed to be a dreary post! I mean the house is quiet, my Irie dog is keeping my feet warm, and my dear will be home soon=D Tomorrow Bri. has Science and Writing. I think after that she will be pretty tired so I am not planning to get much homeschool in. Next week we have:
Sat- I am babysitting all night=D

Sunday- House cleaning

Monday- Bri has classes and B.J. has dentist to get broken tooth fixed

Tuesday- Off to Tacoma for our check up at The Amen Clinic, and Bri's friend C.

Wednesday- Bri has classes and I have my therapist followed by our haircuts

Thursday- Bri. has classes

Friday- Piano class, Ms. Annette's for lunch and Bri's friend C.

Ok, ok! This is my second attempt. I just don't get along with technology.

I love your blog page, very interesting!

I'm sorry Bri didn't get her part. I can only say... what are they thinking? They are just a bunch of short-sighted teachers. I think she was AWESOME last year and wonderfully animated in the parts she did. If it is any consulation, I would have jumped to put her in the role!

Well, I guess I better get back to studying (sigh).

Talk to you soon
