Today I am reading Purple Hibiscus by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. I learned about this book in a reading I did for my Women's Studies class. I was so intrigued by what I read about the author I had to pick up the book. So far I am very pleased I did. It is an easy to follow story but there is alot of new vocabulary for me. I love new vocabulary though so I am quite happy. I think I had to look up 4 word on the first page alone. Not because my vocabulary is limited necessarily but because the author is from Africa and has a vocabulary that is unframilure to me. I highly recommend this book. I will do a more complete review when I am done, maybe. I also picked up her next book, Half of a Yellow Sun.
