Greetings from Texas! and Happy Earth Day!!

We are all having a lovely time here in hill country, about 45 min. outside of Austin, Texas. We are staying at the lovely "Log Cabin Cove." We had good flights in to Texas on Monday and beautiful weather. Then we stopped in downtown Austin at a Whole Foods to gather some creature comforts. Briana decided that the Whole Foods back home is better, lol. And my husband was devistated to discover they not only didn't have any Tuscano but, they also had never heard of it. I think he will survive the week without it although he is still a bit in doubt.

We have been enjoying beautiful weather and a great view of nature. We saw a deer on the way to the cabin, and since then turtles, lizards, scorpions, cranes, a variety of birds and lots and lots of bugs=) I have so many pictures to share with you all but you will have to wait till I get home.

Right now B.J. and Briana are out searching for more wildlife. We will see what they bring back. I told them no snakes, tehehe.

Briana spent most of the day in the pool yesterday, while I watched from the shade. She also enjoyed a canoe ride with her daddy and crafts with the cousins. Today she plans to swim after her walk and later today possibly a trip to some local caves. Lots of exciting things to do and see. I am so not used to being this close to nature, I must admit I am not straying far from the path.
