Ever since the first time they heard spring peepers, my kids have been hooked. And, I have to admit, I can still remember the first time my dad took me to hear them. There's just something magical about the sound of these small frogs -- it's almost like a chorus of bells ringing in the season.
So, each year at this time, we make a point to get outside and listen to them. Today, that means visiting a local nature center with a few acres of wetland habitat.
